Von Dooms

In a dark, ancient graveyard, overgrown with strange vines and forgotten by man, a hideous chorus of chimes erupts, heralding the arrival of Hour 13...Bathed in an eerie ultraviolet light, the air charged with the smell of ozone, the Tri-Lobed Burning eye forces it's way into our world once more, and infuses a long dead man with unholy cosmic energy… And a mission-To open the way for the Old Ones to enter into our dimension once more, so that they might wreak havoc and bring chaos and degradation to the worlds that were once theirs…

The Von Dooms are a horror punk/psychotronic schlock band from Virginia.

Influences include the (original) Misfits, Samhain, Forbidden Dimension, The Cramps, The Damned, Black Flag, Screaming Lord Sutch and the Ramones... The Von Dooms have been creepin' around since 99, and have had a cassette release called "…From Beyond" out on Reanimator Records, and are now signed with Valiant Death Records, where they have released the CD "I'll Be Lurking For You". The line up has been through a few changes, but the foremost fiends in the band are Destro Von Doom, and Francis Von Doom (R.I.P.). The Von Dooms mainly focus on weird fiction writers like H.P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard and Edgar Allen Poe, as well as horror movies and E. C. comics. The Von Dooms seek to bring their vision of cosmic horror punk to the world, and to aid the Great Old Ones, ancient, cosmic beings of immense power and evil who dwell far beyond time and space.
